The wines of Chateau Clec Milon are well-loved for their richness and intensity, with a unique and noble nose and soft tannins. In the blend is Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot as well as Carmenère (Chateau Clerc Milon maintains one of the most extensive plantings of Carmenere, also known as the "extinct" variety in France). Chateau Clerc Milon was founded by Baron Philippe Rothschild, along with its sister estate Château d'Armailhac and the legendary wine Château Mouton Rothschild.
