CHÂTEAU LATOUR - MARTILLAC
Pessac Leognan 2014
75CL
an attractive bouquet with intense blackberry, briary, warm gravel and balsamic notes that are very well defined and evoke Pessac-Léognan through and through. The palate is medium-bodied with supple, ripe tannin. It feels gentle in the mouth, not structured but fleshy and full, fanning out with crushed strawberry, red cherry and white pepper towards the satisfying finish.

This Cabernet from Sunnyclliff is one of those wines that you’ll find hard to resist and the perfect thing to pair with a mid-week barbecue. Expect black currant and dark chocolate aromas with a core of dark fruit flavours and subtle oak. The finish is soft yet persistent and the right foil for a chargrilled lamb steak.

Versace Nero d’Avola 2015
Feudi Del Pisciotto
This is one that is great on its own and with food. A hug for your mouth. Nose is raisins and a slight green pepper. Drinking it had a n earthy quality that’s like eating the ripest beat. Sweet but still rooted. Ripen strawberries are also on the palette.

CHÂTEAU LATOUR - MARTILLAC
Château Latour-Martillac is a Bordeaux producer in the Pessac-Léognan region in the north of Graves. It makes Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant red blends as well as a dry white wine led by Sémillon. It was named a Classed Growth in the 1959 Classification of Graves and is one of the few producers to be named for both its red and white wines. Cabernet Sauvignon makes up roughly 60 percent of the vines with some Merlot and a small amount of Petit Verdot.
