This Wine is a beautiful full lemon yellow with a rich look to it. The nose shows the minerality and a kiss of smokey oak and possibly a touch of reduction that was gone in a whisp. Palate is richer, rounder and a bit more fruit driven than the les Ménétrière vineyard bottling but still bright with lively energetic acidity. Plenty of white peach, pear, citrus and some creamy vanilla linger on the finish with the limestone driven minerals. A lovely Wine that while delicious now will also be better in half a decade or more.

Aged Slovenia treasure. Friulano is the grape done in oak. The label says tokata as a play on words as friulano used to be known as tocai friulano. Tokata =tocai Full body, baked pear with light caramel coating. Spicy and rich. Nice full throttle finish. Slovenia Wine that made me say " wow ; I have another Wine country to discover". Thanks to the resto Somm that directed me to this Wine

Tinges of black cherry soda and loam carry the hedonistic finish
